Tipping a film
When someone loves a film on Flick TV, they can tip it. Tips are paid in credits, the same balance you generate with, and every credit a creator is tipped can become real money.
The short version: tips start at 5 credits, cashing out is at 250 credits = $1, and withdrawals open once you have accumulated $20.
Tipping a film
You can tip from anywhere you watch:
- Flick TV and Explore: every film card shows a hand icon with the credits it has been tipped. Click it to add yours.

- Film page: the Tip tile in the action row under the player, or Tip Creator on the creator card beside it.

- Creator profile: Tip Creator tips the creator directly, with no film attached.

- Comments: Post with Tip attaches a tip to your comment. Both go through together.

The dialog offers 50, 200, and 1000 credits, or any custom amount from 5 credits up. You can add a private note of up to 200 characters that only the creator sees, and tip anonymously if you prefer. Before you send, the footer shows your balance and exactly what your tip converts to in cash for the creator.
Short on credits? The dialog tells you how many you are missing and takes you straight to Buy credits.
You cannot tip your own film. On your own films, the tip button becomes a counter showing what others have tipped.
Earning tips as a creator
Everything you have earned lives in Creator Studio, in your account menu. It shows your lifetime credits from tips, how much is cashable right now in USD, your most recent tips with their notes, and your top supporters.
Three rules govern your balance:
- Tipped credits never expire. They sit in your balance until you spend or cash them out.
- They are spent last. When you generate, your own credits go first. Tips are only touched once everything else is gone.
- Each tipped credit can become money once. If you spend tipped credits on generating, they are gone either way, and the cashable number falls with them.
When someone tips you, a notification arrives. You can reply once per tip from the bell: Say thanks, up to 200 characters, sent privately to your supporter.
FAQ
Why did my cashable number go down without a payout? You generated with tipped credits. Once your own credits run out, generation draws on tips, and a spent credit cannot also be cashed out. If you want to preserve your cashable balance, keep enough of your own credits topped up.
Do anonymous tips count? Fully, in your earnings and cashable balance. They are simply left out of the public top-supporters list, so those totals can read lower than your real earnings.
Can I withdraw part of my balance? Not currently. A withdrawal always takes your full cashable balance at that moment. Tips that arrive while a request is pending stay in your balance for the next one.
