Cashing out and Rules
The cash-out program is intended to reward genuine creative work and authentic community support. Any attempt to abuse, manipulate, or circumvent the tipping or cash-out system, including conduct designed to artificially generate withdrawable earnings, is strictly prohibited. Flick reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to investigate suspected abuse, withhold or deny payouts, void affected earnings, suspend or permanently revoke cash-out privileges, and suspend or terminate accounts that engage in such conduct.
How to case out
- Reach $20 cashable. Withdrawals open at $20.00. Below that, Creator Studio (click your headhost) shows exactly how far away you are.

- Tell us where to send it. The first time you cash out, the dialog asks for your payout details: a PayPal email, or anything else that works for you, such as bank details, Wise, or Revolut. You can set or change this any time in Account settings > Getting paid. Only you and Flick can see it.
- Request the withdrawal. Press Request withdrawal. It cashes out your entire cashable balance in one go. Those credits are held immediately so they cannot be spent while the payout is in flight, and you get a confirmation email. One request at a time.
- We review and pay. Payouts are reviewed by the Flick team, usually within 3 days. The full amount is paid out: $1 for every 250 credits, exactly, with no fees.
- Done, and on the record. Creator Studio keeps your recent payout history. If a request is ever declined, you will see the reason there, and every held credit returns to your balance.
Your payout destination is locked in when you request. Changing your details afterwards affects future requests, never one already in review.

Cash-Out Rules
Tips exist so viewers can support real creative work with real money. To keep payouts fair for creators and protect the credit economy, every cash-out follows the rules below. For how tipping itself works, see Tips & Cash Outs.
Who can cash out
- Your cashable balance has reached $20.00 (250 credits = $1).
- Your account is in good standing and has at least one film published on Flick.
- Your payout details are on file, and you have no other request in review.
- We may ask you to verify your identity before your first payout, or for larger amounts.
What earnings can become cash
Cash-outs are funded by genuine support:
- Tips funded by purchased credits are eligible for cash out.
- Tips funded by free or promotional credits (signup bonuses, weekly credits, referral and event grants) support your work and can be spent on generating, but they may not be eligible for cash out.
- Recent tips may be held for a short period before they become withdrawable, to allow for payment disputes.
Every payout is reviewed
The Flick team reviews each withdrawal request, usually within 3 days. During review we may hold a payout, ask you for more information, or decline the request. If a request is declined, the reason appears in Creator Studio and every held credit returns to your balance.
Fair play
The following void the earnings involved and can lead to declined payouts, loss of the cash-out feature, or account termination:
- Tipping yourself through other accounts, or arranging reciprocal tips between accounts.
- Paying, rewarding, or otherwise coordinating people to tip you.
- Tips from farmed, automated, or otherwise inauthentic accounts.
- Tips funded by fraudulent payments. If a tipper’s payment is later refunded or disputed, the corresponding earnings are removed, even if a cash-out was already requested.
We look at real signals, not film taste. Nobody’s earnings are voided for making a simple film; they are voided for manufacturing support that is not real.
Changes and final say
These rules may be updated as Flick evolves; meaningful changes will be announced. All determinations regarding tip authenticity, cash-out eligibility, payout amounts, and violations of these rules are made by Flick at its sole discretion and are final. Flick reserves the right of final interpretation of these rules to the fullest extent permitted by law.
If you believe a decision was made in error, contact us through support and we will take a second look.
FAQ
Why did my cashable number go down without a payout? You generated with tipped credits. Once your own credits run out, generation draws on tips, and a spent credit cannot also be cashed out. If you want to preserve your cashable balance, keep enough of your own credits topped up.
Is there a fee when I cash out? No. The conversion is exactly 250 credits to $1, and the amount we send equals the amount requested. Your payout provider (for example PayPal) may apply its own receiving fees, which are outside Flick.
Can I withdraw part of my balance? Not currently. A withdrawal always takes your full cashable balance at that moment. Tips that arrive while a request is pending stay in your balance for the next one.
Where do I change my payout details?Account settings > Getting paid, or from the Change link in the withdrawal dialog. Only you and Flick can see them.
