The motion is not what I asked for
Find the symptom below, then change one instruction and test again.
Too many things happen
Give a short clip one main action. "She turns toward the window" is easier to control than turning, picking up a bag, and walking to a door. Split a longer sequence into separate shots.
It is too fast, or the action is over before the clip ends
Specify the pace, such as "slowly" or "gently". Use "first", "then", and "after" to explain the order. Match the clip length to the action.
The camera moved when I wanted it still
Say so: "static camera, locked framing." Write the character's action and the camera's action as two separate sentences; see the Seedance Performance Guide.
The camera move is not the one I described
If text is not enough, record the move in the 3D Stage and use it as a video reference in Omni Reference. Check the result; a reference does not guarantee an exact match.
The wrong thing moved
Name the subject first and say what stays still: "the woman turns her head; the background and the umbrella do not move."
Objects warp or drift
Large camera moves reveal areas the reference does not show. Try less camera movement or a static camera, and keep the clip short.
Nothing much happens
Describe a visible change, not an intention: "her eyes stop moving for one beat" rather than "she is thinking."
