Type the shot, or add a start frame from any image on your canvas. Seedance 2.5 follows the image, so a GPT Image 2.5 or Nano Banana 2 still becomes the first frame of the clip. Add an end frame when you know where the shot has to land.

PICK LENGTH AND SOUND
Choose 4 to 30 seconds and 480p, 720p or 1080p. Leave Generate Audio on and Seedance writes the sound with the picture: footsteps, room tone, lines of dialogue. At 720p a 5 second clip is 240 credits, 10 seconds is 480 and 15 seconds is 720; 480p is 105 per 5 seconds and 1080p is 540.

CUT IT WITH EVERYTHING ELSE
The clip appears as a node on the canvas. Chain it after a Kling shot, send its last frame into the next generation, or switch to Seedance 2.5 in Omni Reference and feed it up to 50 reference files (images, video clips, audio) to hold a character, a location or a sound across the whole sequence.

WHERE CAN I USE SEEDANCE 2.5?
On Flick, in the browser, as one of the video models on the canvas. Pick Seedance 2.5 in the model picker of any Image to Video node, or in Omni Reference when you want to steer it with reference files. No ByteDance account or API key. HOW MUCH DOES SEEDANCE 2.5 COST ON FLICK?
At 720p, 240 credits for a 5 second clip, 480 for 10 seconds, 720 for 15 and 1,440 for the full 30. 480p is 105 per 5 seconds and 1080p is 540. The Standard plan ($20/month, 2,500 credits) covers about ten 5 second Seedance 2.5 clips a month at 720p; Pro (8,000 credits) and Studio (24,000) scale that up.
IS SEEDANCE 2.5 FREE? IS SEEDANCE 2.0 FREE?
Flick has a free tier: up to 300 free credits (100 at signup plus 200 for joining our Discord) plus 100 weekly credits, no credit card required. The free plan includes MiniMax H3 Fast, MiniMax H3 Max and Pruna Draft video and every image model. Seedance 2.5 and Seedance 2.0 come with the Standard plan, $20/month or $16/month billed yearly. Paid plans start at $5/month, or $4/month billed yearly.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SEEDANCE 2.5 AND 2.0 ON FLICK?
Both are on the canvas. 2.5 goes to 30 seconds, follows the prompt more closely and takes up to 50 reference files in Omni Reference. 2.0 stops at 15 seconds but goes to 4K and is priced by resolution (60 credits per 5 seconds at 480p, 120 at 720p, 270 at 1080p, 617 at 4K), so it is still the pick for a cheap draft or a 4K hero shot. Seedance 2.0 Mini (90 credits per 5 seconds at 720p) and Seedance 1.5 Pro (52) are there too.
CAN SEEDANCE 2.5 KEEP THE SAME CHARACTER ACROSS SHOTS?
Yes, two ways. Put the character's image in the start frame of each clip, or use Seedance 2.5 in Omni Reference and cite the same reference images in every prompt. For a character that has to survive a switch to Kling or Veo, lock the face first with Character Reference (on every plan) and send that image into each model.
