Eliott Mogenet is a French filmmaker working at the intersection of cinema and artificial intelligence, based in the United States. After building technology companies in Silicon Valley, he turned to AI filmmaking to challenge how these tools reshape storytelling. Rather than treating AI as spectacle, he uses it to tell intimate stories shaped by memory, nostalgia, and contemporary social and political tensions. His first AI short film, Nightfalling, was nominated for the AI Film Awards 2026 in Cannes. During the Flick Filmmaker Residency, he created Foujan, The Sound of Silence, an animated AI short following a young DJ navigating a secret underground club scene in Tehran. He founded Expresso Studio, a San Francisco–based creative studio producing AI-driven commercials and narrative work.
