Watch on FlickThe film is built around a single close-up made from a one-line Nano Banana Pro prompt. That image was then fed into 21 later shots, so the woman looks the same everywhere. Motion was tested with Seedance 2.5 image-to-video right away.
A close-up of a middle-aged woman’s face, with a bruise around one eye
Each of the three characters got a turnaround sheet and an expression sheet, made with Nano Banana Pro from frames of early test clips rather than new designs. The cowboy's two sheets were each used as references in 15 shots.
Reverse angles, a shot from directly behind the man and wider framings were made by editing frames that already worked, so the room, light and characters stay consistent.
Recompose this into a WIDER shot of the same log cabin scene, pulling the camera back and to the right
The key scenes use Seedance 2.5 Ref with several references at once: the character sheets plus a frame from the previous shot, named in the prompt with @. Each prompt describes the action, and sometimes a line of dialogue, as one continuous direction.
He then tears the wanted poster off the tree, takes a quick look at it, and slips it into his pocket.
The closing carriage shot was also tried with FLUX 3 and MiniMax H3. The Seedance 2.5 Ref version, built from the snow and carriage stills, is the one that was kept.
The wanted poster was made in passes: a Midjourney poster, the headshot swapped for the woman's expression sheet, then restyled for the period. It then became the center of its own scene.
make headshot as skechy. coz this is 1920s.
The scream was tried as a Kling O3 video edit of an existing clip, then regenerated with Seedance 2.5 using exact timing: when the move starts and what must not happen.
don't start the zoom in until she says "it", before that camera should be locked
Dialogue was generated with ElevenLabs v3 and captions with ElevenLabs Scribe. The film was cut in Flick's video editor: trims, clip effects, adjustment layers and title text.
English translation (ours): The woman looks at the ground in surprise, then glares at the shotgun pointed at her forehead. The camera follows her gaze upward (@Gunslinger Character Turnaround Sheet, @Gunslinger Expression Reference Sheet) and reveals that while the man holds the shotgun on her with his right hand, his left hand aims a revolver at the door. The man comes into view along the shotgun. Don't cut.
The camera slowly pulls back with a handheld movement, revealing a gun pointed directly at her forehead. Her eyes remain locked on the man standing by the doorway. The camera then whip-pans to him. Outside, snow blankets the landscape. Everyone is inside a small wooden cabin, with glowing embers from a charcoal fire casting a warm, flickering light across the room.
The woman screams hysterically: "Do it!" when she says "it!", the camera quickly zoom pans into her mouth until the screen is dark don't fade to black, the scene should be at full opacity the entire duration, it just zooms into the darkness of her mouth don't start the zoom in until she says "it", before that camera should be locked
The camera slowly pulls back as a horse-drawn carriage begins to move. Then it continues pulling farther away into an overhead shot, getting more and more distant, as the carriage @Woman With Black Eye, Taped Mouth travels through the vast white snow.
The man in the hat walks into the shot of the man lying on the ground. He then tears the wanted poster off the tree, takes a quick look at it, and slips it into his pocket.
Create a shot taken from DIRECTLY BEHIND the man, camera at his height, facing his BACK. Image 1 is the rugged bearded man; Image 2 is the firelit log-cabin interior with a middle-aged bruised woman seated by a low charcoal fire, woodpile behind her, a shotgun barrel at her temple. We see ONLY the back of the man now: the back of his head, his hair, and his shoulders and heavy dark coat fill the center foreground of the frame. His face is completely hidden from us because we are directly behind him. He stands inside the cabin looking straight ahead down the room. Beyond his silhouette, centered in the frame, we see the warm firelit interior from Image 2: the seated woman by the glowing fire ahead of him, the stacked woodpile, the rough log walls, and the shotgun barrel at her head. Cold blue night light rims his back and hair; warm orange charcoal-fire glow fills the room in front of him. Cinematic, moody, low-key film-still look. Keep his heavy dark coat and build from Image 1.
